I dont know how sony released any shutter life estimations for e-mounts. They did for a-mounts cameras and i think there it was aroun 200k. I would assume the same for e-mount.But that is just a number that isn't all too useful.
Most shutters will last good amount more, but a lot will probably not even see close to this number of shots actually taken. This only applies to the mechanical shutter. Now do the math and see how many shots you make a month and guesstimate for a year or so.Is Hi+ that useful for action? I assume only if you can prefocus, or does it refocus now in Hi+ Mode?. If I recall the a7r shutter estimations was 250k and the a7rii is said to be 500k.
I would think 150k-200k is a safe bet for the a6500. Plus silent shutter likely doubles the life.My advice. Don't spray and pray! Landscape and portraits I would do single shot or bracketing. For action it's best to do HI+ burst. As for my a6000. I use spray and pray and have a count of 25000 in 9 months. So my camera life time use should be about 4.5-6 years total if the 150k-200k value I think will hold. I'm having some issues finding the shutter actuations for my a6500.
I've tried uploading a.jpg camerashuttercount.com, but I got an error message that reads: 'It looks like your camera doesn't supply the necessary information.' I've also run the exiftool using Terminal on my Mac and when searching for ImageCount, it shows up as '0'I thought this could be a firmware issue, so I updated to 1.04 (from 1.00) just now and I'm still getting the same error message and results from exiftool.Any suggestions or steps I may have missed?.

I believe the program OPANDA Viewer does show it on some cameras - but again I can't remember seeing of any of the non-dSLR type that show up in that program either.
